Curiosity

The world and people in general are weird. At times, things seem simple, and yet, at the same time, they have their own complexities and depth. It’s hard for me not to be curious about the things that happen in the world. This is the basis of my strength in being curious. I’ve always been fascinated or perplexed by the simple things in the world that we live in.

There’s an innocence in being curious, childlike in nature that wants to understand things more in-depth. I find that as I’ve grown older, though, I have to fight for the ability to stay curious because life tends to create cynics out of us. Maturing and learning how to be responsible while keeping the kid in you who can still be enthralled with the beauty and humor of life is a delicate balance I look to live out.
