Reflection

Focus is something that is missing for much our culture. With the advent of social media and other aspects of our ever changing technological landscape, we've lost our attention span at a rapid pace. I'm no stranger to this epidemic. I can honestly say for the first 23 years of my life I resembled this core value well and because of it, I was able to accomplish many things in areas of growth (school, sports, maturity). The noise of life wants to control the intention of my time, but I have to be courageous and diligent enough to remain focus.

I believe discernment is the product of rightly aligned focus. The more difficult issue with discernment isn't parsing through good and bad, but through better and best. That's where focus needs to be intensified, where our focus truly needs to be directed towards.
